MILNA

Town Quay Milna

Milna is located on the western part of the island Brac part of the Croation Dalmatian islands.

Only 18 kilometers from Supetar, it is famous for its marvellous bay, in which the ships of the emperor Diokletian found a secure harbour in the time of the building of his palace in Split.

Today Milna is a sleepy village, there is a marina with several berths which attracts many a famous name arriving on their fabulous superyachts, we think it is like St Tropez forty years ago!

It is said that Milna is from a forgotten time.

A fishing village from antiquity, this spacious harbour with its Venetian heyday and Roman roots, is home to a people untouched by time.

The fishermen ply the waters each morning in their tiny wooden boats, the women weave intricate lace, the harbour front cafes reverberate with the animated sounds of the men playing the traditional card games whilst the women are beckoned to the guided church by the peeling of the bells.

In its neighbourhood there are sandy and gravel beaches, which also makes Milna the favourite destination of families and those who desire of a peaceful vacation.
